Traveling Wilburys

I had their first albumn on casette. Looked for the CD but could never find it. The other day at B&N I came across it while looking for something else. I had a gift card and decided to pick it up. Felt like meeting an old friend again. Two of my favorite songs are

Re: Traveling Wilburys

You happened to pick my two favorite Wilburys songs, so thanks for that.

I have a special "collected works" edition that came out a couple of years ago. it's both of the CDs that were released, and both have additional previously-unreleased tracks. There is also a DVD with a couple of excellent documentaries, interviews, etc., and all of the music videos they ever made, plus some other stuff.

Dragon, good traveling music, no? If I may be so bold: Don't forget to include this CD in your stash for your upcoming trip to CA. emoticon

Please burn one for me before your trip west, too, D. They are favorites of mine. I remember buying their first cassette at Tower Records on vacation in SF years [sign in to see URL] played it over and over and over [sign in to see URL] bring it and I will burn it here. : )

PS I will go to bed with The End of Line playing in my [sign in to see URL] "it's all right".

Thanks for that, Kat

I was delighted to find the music and dance forum and then, especially, this thread. There is something about this kind of playful collaboration that makes listening as much fun as it probably was to make. Music allows for such incredible fusions and sharing. This whole album makes me smile. I have to dig out my old Wilbury CD now. So much fun.
