Thanks for posting the article, Kat. Seems like he's saying too many people who shouldn't be writing, are--and too many people who should be reading, aren't. Thinks writers should choose more relevant subjects
(my paraphrasing here.)

Funny, I just read another article somewhere, in which it was pointed out that work, what the characters actually do for a living, is hardly dealt with in current fiction. What does it all mean?

Sorry to hear the lit. mags. are disappearing.
